 Digital literacy

Amna explain that there are five types of literacy in the broader term digital literacy. These are:

1.Photo-visual literacy

2.Reproduction literacy 

3.Branching literacy

 4.Information literacy

 5. Socio-emotional literacy

Then she explains applications of digital literacy in :

Education: Studies have shifted on online mood these days so students should be digitally literate in order to be on pace with today's online education

Society: In order to deal with social issues of today's digital society, one should be aware of the haves and not haves of the digital world

Workforce:  One should know the use of digital media because it is a must these days to get jobs online

Then she explains the global impact of this literacy as the UN has made it's their goal to become digitally literate till 2023

Then she explains identity, use, safety, emotional intelligence etc as the areas of digital literacy

Then she explains digital divide which has created between developing and developed countries because of inaccessibility of  IT

Then she explains the terms digital natives and immigrants.

Digital natives: those people who are born in the digital age

Immigrants: The people born before 2020 and trying to acquire digital skills
